Head over to The Wired Cup (9418 91 St.) from 7:30 to 11 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month for a free beverage on us! Wired Wednesdays are on the following dates:

  • June 7, 2017
  • July 5, 2017
  • August 2, 2017

Don’t miss out on Juniper Cafe & Bistro’s Toonie Thursdays! Enjoy one beer or glass of wine for a toonie from 4 to 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month (9514 87 St.). Grab your drink on the following dates:

  • June 8, 2017
  • July 13, 2017
  • August 10, 2017

Pool schedule

With Bonnie Doon pool closed for construction, Strathearn Community League has negotiated 2 alternative family swim times as part of your community league membership. These alternatives will be FREE throughout the fall and winter season.

  • Hardisty Leisure Centre on Sundays from 1:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
  • Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre on Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Strathearn Community League Members also have free admission to Edmonton’s four outdoor pools. Here is a schedule for league members:

    • Sunday to Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Oliver
    • June 10 – Sept. 8
    • Sunday to Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Queen Elizabeth
    • June 1 – Sept. 1
    • Sunday and Tuesday 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.,
    • Monday and Wednesday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Mill Creek
    • May 20 –  Sept. 5
    • 7 days a week from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Strathearn Stay and Play

All caregivers of preschool children are welcome to join this parent and tot group. Connect with other caregivers in your neighbourhood, and enjoy coffee and light refreshments. For more information, contact Chris Samuel.

Strathearn A.V. Club

The A.V. Club is a regular film series for adults sponsored by Pavillion Financial Corporation and the Strathearn Community League. Films will be screened monthly at the Strathearn Hall (8777 96 Ave.) and are open to the public. Tune into our Facebook for updates or contact Andrew Struthers.
